    Burglary protection and method
    The present invention relates to a burglary protection for obstructing an attempt to, by means of a pinball member, such as a bendable sheet material, insert a bolt into a lock, such as in a closing plate or cup, inserted into a lock opening. latch bolt, opening a lock of a movable valve in the form of a door or window arranged in a wall or frame, wherein the valve is arranged against an edge in a closed condition. The present invention furthermore relates to a method for manufacturing such a burglary protection. The present invention is generally applicable in a closing system comprising a wall, preferably provided with a frame and / or door post, with a valve in the form of a door or window.
    Many forms of unlawful access provision through doors and / or windows are known. One of these unlawful methods of providing access is known as the so-called pinball. The so-called pinball is possible when a door lock is provided with a so-called latch bolt that is chamfered on one side so that the door can be closed easily. Pinballing is an action whereby access to this latch bolt is provided by means of a deformable plate material, such as even a regular bank card or credit card. the closing bowl, slides.
    Pinballing can be prevented in itself in many ways, which however require structural adjustments to the locking systems or require substantial investments. For example, it is possible to use a central lock which has built-in measures against pinball. Another solution that effectively prevents pinballing itself is the use of a latch bolt in addition to the so-called night bolt, but this requires separate actions of the user of the lock with each closing operation and with each opening operation.
    In order to obviate these drawbacks of the prior art, the present invention provides a burglary protection for obstructing an attempt to, by means of a pinball member, such as a flexible sheet material, slide a lock into a lock opening, such as in a lock opening. closing plate or bowl, retracted bolt, such as a latch bolt, opening a lock of a movable valve arranged in a wall or frame in the wall in the form of a door or window, the valve being arranged against an edge in a closed condition, the burglary protection comprising: - a fixing element for fixing thereof to the frame or the valve, wherein the valve is arranged in a closed position in the frame, and - a retention element for preventing the pinball from reaching the bolt; - wherein at least the retention element is coupled to the fastening element such that the retention element at the location of the closing opening for the bolt is functional for preventing the bolt from sliding into the lock.
    An advantage of a burglary protection according to the present invention is that by means of a simple placing operation, without further modification, the locking system is provided with effective protection against pinballing. Starting from a play of one to three mm between the frame and the end face of the door, such a provision can be easily applied without problems during use of the door without additional processing by, for example, an adhesive action and / or the insertion of one or more some screws or nails. A further important advantage of security according to the present invention is that it can be manufactured in a simple manner and at low costs. A further advantage of a security according to the present invention is that it can have a low weight and can therefore be easily distributed. A further advantage of a security device according to the present invention is that it can be installed by almost any end user of the locking system itself without the need for specialized professionals.
    According to a first preferred embodiment according to the present invention, the burglary protection is adapted for attachment to the frame, wherein the fixing element and the retention element comprise a plate material, preferably comprising a back part, further preferably formed by means of a fold in the plate material. The stated advantages of easy applicability and ease of use apply to this preferred embodiment.
    According to a further preferred embodiment, the burglary protection comprises at least one hook element for providing a hooking action with respect to the pinball member. During the execution of the pinball, the latch bolt is often approached from the top or the bottom by the pinball member. To this end, the hook elements provide effective engagement with the pinball member for preventing further movement in the feed direction.
    Here, preferably, at least one hook element has an engaging action on the pinball member in a longitudinal direction of the frame.
    According to a further preferred embodiment, the fixing element and / or the retention element are made of a metal, such as a steel, such as spring steel. Using such materials, a simple manufacture by means of a punching operation on the metal is possible. This provides both a very strong retention element and makes it possible to manufacture the device in a very advantageous manner.
    The fixing element and / or the retention element are further preferably made from a plastic, such as polypropylene or polycarbonate, more preferably from rubber. Processes for manufacturing from a sheet material are provided with such materials. It is further provided to form the device by means of such materials by means of a molding operation such as casting or injection molding.
    For each preferred embodiment, provision is made for use of a reinforcement, such as a fiber reinforcement.
    For the purpose of attaching the burglary protection, it preferably further comprises fixing means such as comprising an adhesive. This allows the burglary protection to be applied to the door frame or the frame as if it were a sticker.
    Alternatively, a fastening is provided by means of fastening means such as openings for feeding through fastening materials such as screws, nails or nuts. These fastening means are provided in an alternative manner to supplement fastening by means of an adhesive.
    A further preferred embodiment according to the present invention relates to such a burglary protection comprising a body of which the fastening element and the retention element form part, wherein - the fastening element is adapted for attachment to a valve on a first side thereof and wherein - in the attached state of the body, the retention element extends from the valve in the direction of the closing direction of the valve.
    This embodiment is particularly intended for use on the valve, such as the door or the window itself. In particular in situations where a so-called draft strip is arranged in the frame, there is room for a retention element according to the present embodiment to fall in behind the draft strip.
    Further preferably, such a burglary protection comprises a second fastening element for making contact with a second side of the valve. This provides easy stop for positioning purposes. The second fastening element also provides a contact surface for the use of an adhesive in a second fastening device relative to the valve. By applying 2 adhesive surfaces at a mutual angle of approximately 90 °, a firm attachment is achieved.
    According to a further preferred embodiment, the fastening element, the retention element and or the body are manufactured by means of a molding operation, such as casting or injection molding.
    More preferably, the fastening element forms part of a closing plate arranged in the wall, the frame or the door frame and wherein the retention element extends from the fastening element or the closing plate. By means of such a preferred embodiment, a smaller clearance between the valve and the wall is possible.
    In a further preferred embodiment, the fixing element is provided with a blocking element for blocking the pinball member. By means of the blocking element, movement of the pinball device towards the bolt of the lock is prevented in an additional manner.
    The blocking element is further preferably formed by punching a circumference thereof from material of the fixing element and arranging it at an angle with respect to the fixing element, preferably by means of a brewing operation. As a result, on the one hand, the blocking element can be manufactured in an advantageous manner and, on the other hand, the rigidity of the blocking element at the location of the fastening element, precisely where the pinball member exerts the greatest forces, is greatest. Furthermore, by such a formation of the blocking element, the pinball member becomes precisely in the direction of this position where the firmness is greatest forced before the forces due to restraint become considerably larger.
    According to a further preferred embodiment, the burglary protection comprises a guide member for guiding the pinball member from the retention element towards the fastening element. The guide member is furthermore preferably formed by converting an end part of the retention element. It is achieved through this guide member that a pinball member is urged towards the fixing elements. As a result, the pinball member is both better retained by the retention element, and the pinball member is better retained by the blocking element. The combination of blocking element and guided element therefore provides a surprising combination effect.
    A protruding angle of the retention member is further preferably provided with a finished angle, the finish reducing incision in clothing or the skin, preferably by means of a curvature gradient in 1 or preferably 2 directions. This increases the user-friendliness of the device and also prevents damage or inconvenience.
    A cutting surface is provided at an angle between the fastening element and the retention element. By means of this cutting surface it is advantageously achieved that the pinball member is damaged and / or material removed from it during pinball. This ensures that such material can be used as evidence against an operator of the pinball device.
    A further aspect according to the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a burglary protection comprising steps for: - defining the circumference of an assembly of fastening element and a retention element, - punching the assembly of fastening element and retention element from a sheet of material element, - forming a back part by means of an operation such as setting or folding, wherein the fixing element and the retention element are formed on either side of the back part. This aspect provides advantages as described with reference to another aspect of the present invention.
    Further advantages, features and details of the present invention will be described in greater detail below with reference to one or more preferred embodiments with reference to the attached figures. Similar but not necessarily identical components of different preferred embodiments are designated by the same reference numerals.

    A first preferred embodiment (Fig. 1-3) according to the present invention relates to a burglary protection 1. This comprises substantially 2 step-shaped elements, a mounting plate 2 and a retention plate 4. In this preferred embodiment, the retention plate is subdivided into three parts, the retention plate 4 for arrangement near the closing opening, and two sub-retention plates 4 '. For the purpose of attachment, an adhesive strip 7 is provided at the rear of the attachment plate 2. Furthermore, four openings 9 are provided for inserting screws there, this is an optional operation. If the screws are used, for example, the adhesive strip is an optional measure.
    In the approximate direction through the pinball member, recesses 8, 8 ', 10, 10' are provided to serve as the hook members for hooking onto the pinball member. When the pinball device approaches the burglary protection from the top as the bottom it will hook into the relevant inlet.
    For this purpose the pinball member 25 is shown in FIG. 3. The door 22 is shown in an almost closed position relative to the frame 21. In this position the door can be further closed in the direction of the arrow A where after the latch 14 will move in the direction of the arrow B in the closing opening 16.
    The retention member 4 is attached to the frame by means of an adhesive strip 7. When the door is closed, the door will allow the retention member to give way slightly. The pinball member is inserted between the side 22 'of the door 22 and the side 23 of the frame. In order to be able to reach the latch bolt, the pinball member must be pressed around the door, whereby it will strike against the retention member 4 and therefore could not reach the latch bolt with its sloping side.
    This effectively blocks an unlawful access operation by applying the burglary protection with the retention device according to the present invention.
    The preferred embodiment according to Figs. 4 to 6 relates to a burglary protection 31 comprising a mounting plate 32, a sub-mounting plate 35 extending substantially perpendicularly from the mounting plate 32, and a retention member 34 extending substantially in line with the mounting plate 32. adhesive strip and 1 ', the mounting plate 32, the sub-mounting plate 35 are attached to the edge of the door at the latch 14 of the door lock.
    For this purpose, this door can be used in a frame as shown in Figs. 3 controlled by application of the weatherstrip is room for accommodating the retention member in the frame when the door is closed. The mounting plate is provided with screw holes 9 as well as an adhesive strip at the rear thereof in a similar manner as in earlier embodiments. From the mounting plate 2, three retention plates 4 have been converted.
    The ones at the outer retention plates 4 are provided with a converted guide member 76. These guide members function to guide a pinball member towards the attachment plate.
    Slightly beyond the guide member 76, seen from the top or bottom, seen during use, a blocking element 73 is arranged. The block-frame element catches a pinball member when it is moved in the direction of the blocking element. The guide member 76 is furthermore functional here since it guides the pinball member into the blocking element. This further enhances the operation of the device.
    The flanged corners 75 between the attachment member and the retention element are preferably sharpened to cut material from the pinball member as it is pulled along it. A particular advantage here is that material of the pinball machine obtained in this way can serve as evidence in proving the involvement of the pinball player operator.
    The edge corners 76 of the retention element are provided with a curvature in the plane of the material and are provided with a curvature perpendicular to the plane of the material, whereby a rounded corner is created, which cuts rounded corner into the skin or prevents damage to textiles. .
    In the foregoing, the present invention has been described with reference to a few preferred embodiments.
